Community Survey 2021

Tell us what is important to you, and how well you think Council is performing on a range of services we provide.

Between now and the end of September, residents of Hume may be randomly contacted to complete a Community Survey over the telephone. This survey will seek your feedback on how well you think Council has been performing over the last 12 months, and where you think we should focus our attention for the future.

The survey results will inform Council’s priorities to ensure community needs and expectations continue to be met as the City grows.

Protecting your privacy

We understand that people may become concerned, when called, about possible scams. The consultants, Lighthouse Data Collection, will collect information from residents on behalf of Hume City Council. This company is a local Australian company and any information that they collect from you will remain anonymous and is protected by the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic).

How to participate

If you are not randomly selected to complete a telephone interview, you can still participate! We want to hear your feedback on the importance of, and your satisfaction with, council services.

The paper and online survey is available in Turkish, Arabic or Vietnamese. This consultation was due to close at 5.00pm Friday 13 August 2021. The closing date has been extended to 5.00pm 30 September 2021 as the telephone survey will take longer in the field due to COVID restrictions in place which limit the number of people who are able to work in the consultant's centre.
