Hume City Council sought ideas from the community about what will make Hume a great place to live, learn, work and play in the future. The ideas shared, along with what we’ve heard, helped our Community Panel to draft a Community Vision for Hume City.

On Saturday 31 July more than 100 community members attended an interactive online workshop where the draft community vision was revealed.

In small groups community members had the opportunity to talk about the actions needed to achieve the three themes in the four-year Council Plan:

  1. A community that is resilient, inclusive and thriving
  2. A city that cares about our planet, is appealing and connected
  3. A Council that inspires leadership, is accountable, and puts the community first

Feedback from this session is currently being collated and reviewed for inclusion in the four-year Council Plan.
