Road Management Plan Review

Consultation has concluded

Background

Regulation 9 of the Road Management (General) Regulations 2016 (the Regulations) require Hume City Council to conduct a review of its Road Management Plan which was adopted in 2017. A draft of the updated Road Management Plan 2021 has been prepared.

The purpose of the review is to ensure that the standards and priorities for the inspection, maintenance and repair of Hume Council's roads ensure that they are safe, efficient and appropriate for use by the community. This is required by the Regulations and is consistent with the role, functions and responsibilities of Council as a road authority under the Act.

The review applies to all of the roads and classes of roads to which the road management plan applies.
