Valley Park Community Centre
Consultation has concluded
A New Community Centre in Valley Park
Background
Hume City Council is delivering a small-scale Community Centre for Valley Park, Westmeadows, that is scheduled to open in 2024.
A community centre was proposed in the Valley Park ‘Development Plan 2011’ and is being designed and delivered by Council with the assistance of funding from the State Government’s ‘Growing Suburbs Fund’.
About the Community Centre
A new centre will provide the Valley Park community with new spaces where you can arrange to meet and socialise, such as:
- A casual space with kitchen facilities
- Multi-purpose activity areas
The Community Centre will provide spaces for important local service and program delivery, including maternal and child health, playgroups and spaces for residents to enjoy shared activities that will help build a strong and connected community.
Location
The new community centre will be located at 44 Village Crescent, Westmeadows. Click on the image on the right to be taken to the location on Google Maps.
