The Broadmeadows Precinct is located 16km north of the Melbourne CBD and includes the suburbs of Broadmeadows, Jacana, Dallas, Coolaroo and part of Meadow Heights. The Precinct is home to numerous community facilities, including the Broadmeadows Town Hall and Hume Global Learning Centre - Broadmeadows, and Johnstone Street Reserve and Jack Roper Reserve.

The Merlynston Creek corridor is the main open space network in the Broadmeadows Precinct and runs from Barry Road in Coolaroo to the Western Ring Road in Broadmeadows. The corridor includes the old Dallas Tennis Centre and Community Hall. We are currently developing a Master Plan for the Merlynston Creek corridor and are interested in your thoughts on how the old tennis centre and community hall could be redeveloped for the community’s needs. Let us know your thoughts by dropping pins in the maps below with your ideas.

Hume Central (the area surrounding the Town Hall and Broadmeadows Global Learning Centre) is located within Precinct 8 and is currently undergoing a revitalisation to transform the area into a vibrant and active town centre for people to visit, work, learn and connect. To find out more about this project, visit the Hume Central Project page here.
