Background

It is time to upgrade Bradford Avenue Reserve's playspace and sportsground to accommodate the future growth in active and passive recreation in Greenvale.

The sportsground and infrastructure

Take a look at Council's Projects and Works page to find out about the planned upgrades for the sportsground and the infrastructure to support it. We're not asking for feedback on this because the design is mostly fixed due to space and technical limits.

The playspace

The current playspace at the reserve is 20 years old and is due for an upgrade.

We are also adding to the amenity of the area by adding seating in the park, a drinking fountain, BBQ and picnic shelter.

The playspace will go where dot number 4 sits (click to enlarge)

What we are asking you to do

We've designed three different concepts that fit into the playspace area. You get to choose your favourite!

Play items are designed to help with children's language, physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. Swinging, spinning, balancing, sliding and rocking all help different aspects of this development.

Click on the picture of each concept to see what play opportunities each one offers and the age ranges they cater for.
