Do you have a great idea for Council?

In Council's 2025/26 budget we've included $742,000 to deliver some of the 108 ideas suggested by community members from our last community ideas consultation.

Six of the ideas council decided to fund are new initiatives, 28 ideas are already being supported through existing services, projects, or programs. And 33 ideas will be considered when shaping future plans and priorities.

Planning is underway for Council’s 2026/27 work plan. This will guide the services and projects we deliver in the next financial year to meet the needs of the Hume community and achieve Council’s priorities and strategic objectives.

We are asking for your great ideas which will help develop our work plan for 2026/27. This is your chance to submit a project, initiative, or idea that can be started in the 2026/27 financial year.
