Background

We invite the community to share their feedback on the concept plan for Gladstone Park Reserve.

The plan proposes a new playspace, shelters, seating, drinking fountain, pathways and more tree planting.

This project is being delivered by Hume City Council with support from the Victorian Government.

We’d love to hear your thoughts to help shape the final plan which proposes a playspace with:

  • play unit
  • swing set with parent and baby seat
  • accessible carousel
  • hammock swing
  • 8-seater rocker
  • double turnover bars

You can see what is planned on the concept below:

Look at the proposal for the playspace and tell us what you like and any changes you want to see. This consultation closes on Sunday 28 June 2026:

I like the design and upgrade of equipment. Long time coming. A shade sail or two across the play area would support usage in the summer.

Playground near a busy road should be fenced, keep dogs out also since people think the park is an off leash area, signs put up.
