Background
Over a number of years Council has been receiving feedback about opportunities on improving John Coutts Reserve, including opportunities for enhancements to the amenities within the reserve, and improvements to community safety.
To help us further explore future opportunities, we would like to hear your thoughts.
Site location
The neighbourhood reserve sits to the south of Gladstone Park, adjacent to the Western Ring Road, and connects to Jacana Valley, with walking and cycling links to the Western Ring Road and Moonee Ponds Creek Trails.
Site options
In considering options for enhancing the reserve, one of the options being explored could be the possibility of including some additional housing overlooking the reserve to enhance safety (through passive surveillance) and to help provide funding to support improvements to the site.
