As part of Council’s ongoing implementation of the recommendations from the Libraries and Learning Service Plan 2021-2026, we are pleased to announce that we have acquired two VW Crafter vans, that are now at ‘fit out’ stage.

These vans will support Hume Libraries to offer more flexible library outreach services to the community, with a focus on services in growth areas, and communities with limited access to our branch libraries.

One of the vans will be fitted out to support a small library collection (‘Collections Van’), and the other will be fitted out to deliver library programs (‘Programs Van’).
